‘Motivated’ Maxx Crosby feeling better than ever as he’s set to end Raiders’ Super Bowl drought under Antonio Pierce

Maxx Crosby was one of the most important figures to champion the cause of head coach Antonio Pierce’s promotion. The Las Vegas Raiders team was in a difficult situation in the middle of the last season. However, the sacking of the then-head coach Josh McDaniels, and the appointment of Antonio Pierce changed the team. Pierce took the Raiders back to winning ways and as a result, he got promoted to head coach.

Maxx Crosby is highly influenced by Pierce. So much so that he feels that the DE feels that the HC will end the Super Bowl drought of the team.

Recovery and rehab has been incredible. I just did my conditioning tests last week and smashed it, and I’m feeling better than I ever have. So, it’s been an incredible offseason so far. Crosby told the reporters

The edge rusher had multiple injury concerns last season but managed to play despite having those. However, the edge rusher feels that he is better now and ready to contribute to the team’s cause.

Everyone knows Maxx Crosby is a big fan and supporter of Antonio Pierce. So much so that he threatened the Raiders management to leave if they would not go for promoting Pierce to the head coach position.

Crossby was not alone. Antonio Pierce had a lot of support from other stars in the squad as well. Multiple players took his side considering the change in attitude of the team. Considering all these, Mark Davis decided to appoint him as the head coach.

Crosby will play a pivotal role in the coming time. He has been one of the most important figures for the team’s defensive success.
